Everything you need to know about ordering tile samples.

How many samples will I receive?

Only one sample per product, per customer is permitted.

You will receive either:

One full tile sample
One cut tile sample

The sample type is clearly stated in the product title (e.g. "Full Tile Sample" or "Cut Tile Sample"). Sample dimensions are also listed within the product specifications.

Will I receive everything shown in the product images?

No. Product images are provided for illustration purposes only and may show multiple tiles, room settings, layouts, patterns or installation examples.

A sample order includes one full tile sample or one cut tile sample only, as stated in the product title and specifications.

Why is the sample price different from the price per tile?

The sample fee is a separate charge from the standard tile price and is not volume-based.

A sample order is for a single sample only. The sample fee covers the provision, handling and dispatch of the sample and should not be compared to, or used to calculate, the price or quantity of full tiles.

Why should I order a sample?

We recommend ordering a sample so you can assess the tile before placing a full order.

A sample allows you to:

View the colour in your own environment and lighting conditions
Assess the texture and surface finish
Check the size and suitability for your project
Compare products before making a larger purchase

As screen displays and lighting conditions can vary, samples provide the most accurate representation of the product.

Product Features

Viscount Heythrop pairs muted browns and greys with a traditional Victorian motif, giving this tile a warm, heritage-inspired character. The diagonal layout, framed centre, and curved corner detailing echo classic encaustic designs, while the soft matt finish adds a gently worn, handcrafted look that defines the Viscount Collection.

As a Victorian floor tile or patterned wall tile, Heythrop brings depth and visual interest to kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, porches, and outdoor patios. Its earthy palette works beautifully in both modern rustic and period-style interiors, making it easy to combine with neutral walls, natural textures, or other coordinating patterns from the range.

Wetroom safe, frost resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor settings, and complete with an R10 anti-slip rating, this tile is also compatible with underfloor heating—ideal for creating character-rich floors and walls throughout the home.
