Moodboard - Atlas Allure
Atlas Allure is a refined, pattern-led moodboard built around a striking black, white and soft gold feature tile, softened with warm whites, cool neutrals and muted green. The scheme has a decorative Moroccan style influence, but the supporting tiles keep it feeling clean, balanced and highly adaptable. It can be styled as a bold feature-led design, or pared back into something calmer by allowing the pattern to sit against simple white metro tiles and understated neutral surfaces.
The mood of this board is elegant and composed, with just enough contrast to feel confident. The black and white pattern gives the palette its structure, while the gold tones add warmth and a more luxurious edge. The chalky whites and almond neutrals prevent the scheme from becoming too stark, and Baroque Lichen Green introduces a cooler, more architectural note. It is a palette that could work beautifully in both period and contemporary interiors, especially where the aim is to create impact without overwhelming the space.
The main feature tile, Madera Gold, anchors the moodboard with its bold geometric pattern and subtle gold detailing. Its contrast makes it ideal for areas where the tile should become the focal point, such as a bathroom floor, cloakroom feature wall, kitchen splashback or decorative shower niche. Used across a floor, it would create a strong patterned base for the room; used more selectively, it could bring definition to a smaller area without taking over the full scheme.
For a more opulent direction, Midas Gold can be paired with Madera Gold to draw out the warmer tones in the pattern. Its rich, textured surface adds depth and a layered finish, making it a strong option for smaller decorative areas, feature walls or details around a basin or vanity. This combination would create a more dramatic look, especially when styled with aged brass, walnut or dark painted furniture.
If the pattern is the main focus, the white metro and brick tiles offer a cleaner supporting role. Puzzle White, Foundry Chalk White, Zellige Oyster, Jumairah Almond Nut and Allegra Blanca each bring a slightly different version of white or warm neutral. These tiles can be used to calm the scheme, add texture, and give the patterned tile space to breathe. They would work well across bathroom wall tiles, shower walls, kitchen splashback tiles, half-height walls, alcoves or smaller decorative areas where the aim is to keep the overall design fresh and balanced.
The larger neutral and green tiles help turn the board into a more complete room scheme. Baroque Lichen Green offers a cooler, more grounded contrast that works particularly well if the room already includes soft green cabinetry, painted panelling or muted architectural details. Larger neutral formats can help soften the pattern across main bathroom walls, bathroom floors, shower areas or kitchen floors, giving the design more space and making the feature tile feel intentional rather than busy.
This moodboard does not need to be used as a full combination. The feature tile could be paired with a white metro tile for a crisp, pattern-led look, or with Midas Gold for a richer and more decorative scheme. The white and neutral tiles could also be used with the larger green tile for a quieter design with less pattern. It is a flexible palette that can move warmer or cooler depending on the space, the light and the surrounding finishes.
For styling, pair this board with aged brass or brushed brass for a warmer, more refined look, or use chrome to sharpen the contrast and keep the scheme fresher. Warm oak, walnut, soft plaster walls and off-white painted cabinetry would bring out the softer neutrals, while deep navy, charcoal or muted green accents would give the palette a more dramatic finish. Keep surrounding materials considered and simple, allowing the pattern, texture and restrained colour palette to do the work.
