Moodboard - Victorian Jewel
Victorian Jewel brings together rich blue and green tones with crisp white marble and softer olive accents, creating a scheme that feels characterful, elegant and full of depth. Inspired by traditional Victorian style pattern but refreshed through bold colour and varied finishes, the palette balances heritage influence with a more contemporary approach.
At the centre of the scheme is London Baker Street, a decorative Victorian style tile combining deep navy, leafy green, soft blue and white. Its sweeping pattern gives the moodboard a strong focal point and makes it particularly suited to hallway floors, bathroom floors or statement areas where the design can be allowed to repeat across a larger surface.
The surrounding tiles draw directly from its colour palette. Bora Bora Green introduces a rich botanical green with a glossy finish, while Levent Blue and Allegra Blue explore deeper blue tones that complement the darker details within Baker Street. Their glossy surfaces also add movement and reflection, creating contrast against the matt patterned tile.
For a softer interpretation of the palette, Benomar Verde and Lisbon Olive Green bring warmer, muted greens into the scheme. These olive shades prevent the stronger blues and greens from feeling overly cool and offer an easy way to carry colour onto surrounding walls or splashbacks without competing with the pattern.
Amalfi Carrara provides the cleanest contrast. Its soft white marble brings lightness to the moodboard and gives the richer jewel tones space to stand out. Used across larger areas, it could create a calmer backdrop while Baker Street or one of the saturated gloss tiles becomes the statement.
Victorian Jewel is particularly effective because it mixes matt and gloss finishes alongside pattern and subtle marble. Rather than matching every surface, the scheme uses different textures to create depth while keeping the colour palette closely connected.
For a bolder room, pair London Baker Street with Bora Bora Green or Allegra Blue to lean into the jewel-toned palette. For something quieter, combine it with Amalfi Carrara and Lisbon Olive Green, allowing the Victorian style pattern to remain the main feature.
This scheme would work beautifully for bathroom tiles, bathroom floor tiles, shower tiles, kitchen tiles, kitchen splashback tiles, hallway tiles, Victorian style floor tiles, patterned tiles and feature walls.
Complete the look with dark timber, antique or aged brass, warm off-whites and understated natural textures. These warmer details complement the traditional influence of the pattern while keeping the finished space feeling considered and current.
